Then they all set out together on the way to the forest.
그러고 나서 그들은 숲으로 가는 길에 함께 출발했습니다.

 When they had walked a short time, Hansel stood still and peeped back at the house, and did so again and again.
그들이 짧은 시간을 걸었을 때, 헨젤은 가만히 서서 집을 훔쳐보고 계속해서 그렇게 했습니다.

His father said: "Hansel, what are you looking at there and staying behind for? Pay attention, and do not forget how to use your legs."

"Ah, father" said Hansel, "I am looking at my little white cat, which is sitting up on the roof, and wants to say goodbye to me." 
"아, 아버지," 헨젤이 말했습니다. "저는 지붕 위에 앉아 있는 작고 하얀 고양이를 보고 있고 저에게 작별 인사를 하고 싶어요."

The wife said: "Fool, that is not your little cat, that is the morning sun which is shining on the chimneys." 
아내가 말했습니다. "바보야, 그건 너의 작은 고양이가 아니야, 그건 굴뚝 위에 빛나는 아침 햇살이야.‟

Hansel, however, had not been looking back at the cat, but had been constantly throwing one of the white pebblestones out of his pocket on the road.
하지만 헨젤은 고양이를 돌아보지 않고 계속해서 그의 주머니에서 하얀 조약돌 중 하나를 길 위에 던지고 있었습니다.
