1. 영어공부 5일째

매일 조금씩 보다보니 나름 재미가 있네요

모르는 단어는 사전 찾아가면서 보고 있는데 보는 재미가 있네요

오늘은 어제 다음 이야기입니다.

 

“You are scarcely polite,” answered the fairy, without anger.
"당신은 거의 예의가 없어요," 요정이 화내지 않고 대답했습니다.

“Well, then, since you are so disobliging, I give you for gift that at every word you speak there shall come out of your mouth a snake or a toad.”
"그럼, 당신이 그렇게 반항적이니, 당신이 하는 말마다 뱀이나 두꺼비가 나올 것을 제가 선물로 드리겠습니다."

So soon as her mother saw her coming, she cried out: 
그래서 그녀의 어머니는 그녀가 오는 것을 보자마자 이렇게 외쳤습니다 :

“Well, daughter?”
"그럼, 딸?"

“Well, mother?” answered the unhappy girl, throwing out of her mouth a viper and a toad.
불행한 소녀는 입에서 독사와 두꺼비를 던지며 "엄마, 뭐요?"라고 대답했습니다.

“Oh, mercy!” cried the mother
"오, 자비를!" 어머니가 소리쳤습니다.

“what is it I see? It is her sister who has caused all this, but she shall pay for it,”
 "내가 보는 것은 무엇이지? 이 모든 것을 일으킨 것은 너의 여동생이니, 그녀는 그 대가를 치를 것이야."


and immediately she ran to beat her.
 그리고 그녀는 즉시 그녀를 때리기 위해 달려갔습니다.

The poor child fled away from her, and went to hide herself in the forest nearby.
그 불쌍한 아이는 그녀에게서 도망쳤고, 근처의 숲으로 몸을 숨겼습니다.

The King‟s son, who was returning from the chase, met her, and seeing her so beautiful, asked her what she did there alone and why she cried.
추격전을 마치고 돌아오던 왕의 아들이 그녀를 만나 너무나 아름다운 그녀를 보고 그녀에게 혼자서 무엇을 하고 왜 울었느냐고 물었습니다
